FUTURA table lamp is made from the compenetration of three identical planes which will balance themself on a plane.
the combination or more lamps can create the opportunity of different dynamic configurations.
The lamp geometry is directly inspired by some sculptural work of the Italian futurist artist Giacomo Balla, some kind abstract flowers he made with the interlocking of different geometrically shaped wooden planes, which are still very contemporary nowadays.
FUTURA is now available in two versions, a white opal one to enhance the abstract geometrical aspect of it and a transparent one with an engraved pattern to dramatise the dynamicity of the geometry by their overlapping through the transparency.
